IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS OF GUN VIOLENCE VICTIMS OR SURVIVORS OF GUN VIOLENCE SHOULD NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM. PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING REGISTRATION FORM INSTEAD. (Form expired http://bit.ly/2017NationalVigilRegistrationFamiliesSurvivors)

REGISTRATION: Please register by November 24th. Registration is required for EACH person attending. If you have others accompanying you, please reload this form when you are finished and complete the form again.

TRANSPORTATION: Advocates from the Newtown area or other areas of Connecticut should travel to D.C. on the complimentary charter bus. Others should make their own travel arrangements. Regrettably, we are not able to provide travel stipends for non-family/survivor advocates traveling from other areas of the nation.

LODGING: We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill for December 6th for a negotiated rate. We are able to fund the hotel stay for the Newtown Action Alliance advocates on December 6th for those participating in the two-day events listed in our itinerary. We encourage advocates who belong to other GVP groups to ask their organization to help fund their overnight stay and transportation.

FOOD: Lunch/dinner on Wednesday, December 6th and lunch on December 7th will be provided. Newtown bus travelers: Please bring $ for breakfast on both days and dinner on the way home from D.C. on the 7th. We will stop at a rest area on the way down to D.C. and on the way home to Newtown.

DRESS CODE: Dress code is business casual and please wear comfortable shoes as there will be a fair amount of walking on Capitol Hill.

The 5th annual national vigil service will be held on December 6th from 7:00-9:00PM at St. Marks Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. This national service will anchor the Nationwide Vigils to #EndGunViolence throughout the 50 states.
