SAVE THE DATE: The Newtown Foundation (our 501c3) will be working with Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence, States United to Prevent Gun Violence, Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and Organizing for Action to sponsor the 4th Annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence to be held on December 14, 2016 at St. Marks Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill at 7:00pm. December 14th is the 4th anniversary of the Sandy Hook shooting. We will be joined by families of victims and survivors of gun violence and special guests to honor and remember all victims of gun violence.
Meanwhile, we wanted to share an important event being held in Washingtion D.C. this Saturday. We hope you will join the Newtown Action Alliance and 50 other organizations to rally to #DisarmHate.
IT’S TIME FOR US JOIN THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY TO RALLY IN WASHINGTON D.C. TO #DISARMHATE TO END GUN VIOLENCE AND DISCRIMINATION
Friday is the three-month anniversary of the Orlando Pulse tragedy where 49 people were killed and 53 people injured by a gunman with a weapon of hate and war.
Saturday is the day we unite with the LGBTQ community to #DisarmHate at a rally on August 13th in Washington D.C. from 11:00am to 4:00pm at West Potomac Park.
Newtown Action Alliance, Connecticut Against Gun Violence and Sandy Hook Promise are sponsoring a bus from Newtown to Washington D.C. We have 13 seats left. Please sign up here.

Star Trek Actor, George Takai asked his supporters on One Pulse for America to skip a latte and donate $4.90 (10 cents for each victim killed in Orlando) to help fund Jason Hayes’ rally and his supporters have donated over $40,000 in one week.
